Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is an HDR photograph which was created using light painting. It was photographed completely in the dark using an LED light to fill in shadows on a long exposure. This is approximately 12 images fused together to create this photograph.

Pam DeCamp (1959, Portsmouth, Ohio) I am an artist who mostly works with photography. My pursuit of photography began when I was a teenage girl in a small rural Ohio town. I dreamed of globe-hopping the world as a photojournalist, using my camera to isolate and preserve the key moments from stories of the day. By the time I graduated from college, I was enjoying some early success; several of my photos were picked up by major newspapers ranging from the Cincinnati Enquirer to the New York Times.
